Two
men arrested after armed robbery at post office near Burnham

Police
have arrested two people after an armed robbery at a post office
near Burnham-On-Sea.
Two men aged 28 and 43 have been held following the daylight
robbery at Lympsham Post Office at 2.30pm on Friday (July 13th).
A
police spokeswoman told Burnham-On-Sea.com: "Two men, thought
to be armed, entered the store and made off with money."
The men have been arrested on suspicion of robbery and released
on bail, pending further enquiries.
As
first reported here
by Burnham-On-Sea.com, police sealed off the area - as
pictured - as they investigated the raid.
Nobody
was hurt in the incident, although the post office staff were
understandably shaken by the incident - which is the second this
year following a
previous incident in February, which we reported here.
Police
have appealed for anyone with information about either incident
to get in touch with them via the non-emergency number 101.
