Power
cut to over 100 homes as line is damaged near Burnham
More
than 100 people were without power near Burnham-On-Sea on Thursday
(April 19th) after an overhead electricity line was cut.
Police
from Burnham were called to Pound Road in Pawlett after a passing
vehicle struck the line at around 2.30pm.
Western
Power Distribution was called to the scene to restore the supplies,
as pictured.
Spokeswoman
Tracy Carr told Burnham-On-Sea.com: "A total of 113 customers
were without power for up to several hours while our teams dealt
with the incident."
She
apologised to customers for the inconvenience caused.
