Somerset Rebels Christmas Cracker speedway meeting postponed

The Somerset Rebels have been forced to postpone Friday night’s Christmas Cracker speedway meeting due to a waterlogged track at the Oaktree Arena in Highbridge.

The Rebels have confirmed that the Grand Prix-style event will now be held at the Highbridge circuit on Friday January 18th at 7.30pm.

The meeting, sponsored by Salt Express, had attracted some of the country’s top riders including Elite League stars Ben Barker and Lewis Bridger, British Under-21 champion Joe Haines, Ricky Ashworth and Ryan Fisher.

The team will be Ricky Ashworth, Ben Barker, Lewis Bridger, Ryan Fisher, Joe Haines, Richard Hall, David Howe, Simon Lambert, Randy Oldenziel, Kyle Newman, Derek Sneddon, Jacob Thorssell, Andrew Tully, Claus Vissing, Richie Worrall, James Wright.
