Pupils at Highbridge’s Churchfield School swapped their normal green uniforms for spots and stripes on Friday (January 27th) to raise cash for the RNLI.

The pupils joined the lifeboat charity’s nationwide SOS fundraising day by dressing in Spots Or Stripes.

Burnham RNLI Education Officer Tony Deahl gave a presentation about the role of the charity to the children during their assembly and invited several of them to try on some of the kit.

Deputy Head Diana Davison told Burnham-On-Sea.com that the children had throughly enjoyed the visit and that a total of £344.31 had been raised by the pupils during the event.
