Motorists in Burnham-On-Sea warned of delays as roadworks begin
Motorists
in Burnham-On-Sea have been warned to expect delays over the next
few weeks as a programme of road repairs is due to begin.
Somerset
County Council's Highways team says the work is being carried
out during the quieter autumn period.
Burnham's
Love Lane is being resurfaced between 15th-24th October, where
traffic lights will be in operation throughout the 10 days of
work.
Hurn
Lane in Berrow is closing from Monday (October 15th) for three
weeks to allow work to renovate the water mains to be undertaken.
And
Bristol Water is also set to carry out mains repairs along Brent
Road from October 22nd to December 3rd where traffic lights will
be in operation.
Berrow
Road in Burnham will be closed from the junction with Players
Lane to Allandale Road on October 25th for further Wessex Water
repairs.
And
resurfacing work is also scheduled to take place in Burnham's
St Pauls Road, St Michaels Road and St Marys Road on October 8th-10th
and Highbridge's Morland Road, Gulliford Close and Kiln Drive
from October 22nd-23rd.
