Burnham-On-Sea police inspector Roger Tolley to hold cyber surgery

-

Residents in and around Burnham-On-Sea and Highbridge will be able to chat directly to their local police inspector from the comfort of their own home this week.

Inspector Roger Tolley is holding a cyber surgery and live web chat between 7pm and 8.30pm on Thursday March 22nd.

Inspector Tolley will be online and hopes members of the local community will log on to ask questions, raise any community concerns and discuss local priorities.

Inspector Tolley told Burnham-On-Sea.com: “I would encourage as many people to log on and take part as possible. I am hoping the web chat will give people who can’t attend or who wouldn’t normally come to public meetings, a chance to have a direct conversation with me.”

“It’s really important that there is regular communication between police and our communities. I want to know what’s happening in the area, what people’s concerns are and how they think we are doing. Feedback from the public is vital to us and helps us to continue to improve our service.”

“People can also log on during the chat to ask general questions about local policing, get crime prevention advice and discuss particular issues and community priorities.”

The discussion will be accessed on the police website here.
