A new children’s activity club is set to launch in Burnham-On-Sea on Saturday (May 26th).
The first Saturday Morning Kids Club will be held at The Princess Theatre from 10am.
Children aged 4-8 are being invited to join in two hours of games, play, art, craft, dancing, competitions, treasure hunts and magic in this trial event which it is hoped will become a regular feature in the theatre’s programme of community activities.
Prizes for the art and craft competition are being provided by Hurley’s in Burnham High Street and a colouring competition to win these books is just one of many activities that children and parents can get involved in.
“The Kids Club is based on a popular birthday party format called ‘The Adventure Zone’,” organiser Ade Bowen told Burnham-On-Sea.com.
“The whole morning has an exciting programme of activities which includes free play at several activity stations, plus a series of games, competitions and activities all the children can get involved in. There will also be an appearance of our mascot which the children love!”
The club is being organised by children’s entertainers Action Pussycat, The Princess Theatre and Hurley’s Bookshop.
