In photos: Jubilee medals presented to Burnham Sea Cadets leaders

Burnham-On-Sea's Mayor has presented leaders at the town's Sea Cadets group with Queen's Jubilee Medals.

A ceremony took place at the group's HQ in Cassis Close on Thursday night (October 4th).

Mayor Ken Smout said he was "honoured" to hand over the medals to CPO Jeremy Fear, Lt (SCC) Bob Silverton, CPO Joanna Sidwell, Lt (SCC) Kim Silverton and CPO Dave Gordon.

During the evening, Bob Silverton also presented a burgee to the unit's Chairman, Mike Jackson, as pictured above. The burgeee represents success at the unit’s latest RN inspection.
