Burnham residents deliver a Royal cash boost to Sea Cadets

A group of Burnham-On-Sea residents has this week delivered a cash boost to the town's Sea Cadets.

Residents of Worston Lane handed over £100 to the group on Monday evening (February 6th) after finding they had some funds left over from their Royal street party last year.

Since the Sea Cadets had given a display at the event, they decided to donate £100 to Burnham's Sea Cadets Unit, TS Dulverton.

Organiser Tanya Dyer told "We had so much fun organising the party last year. The children had mugs and free games and competitions. We are now planning something for the Jubilee this year but with a wider catchment, possibly on Cassis Close playing fields, on Bank Holiday Monday."
