Three
fire crews called to kitchen blaze at Sanders Garden World
Three
fire crews were called to Sanders Garden World in Brent Knoll
this afternoon (Friday) after a kitchen blaze.
One fire engine from Burnham-On-Sea
and two from Weston were sent to the garden centre at
12.47pm.
"Crews located a small fire within a deep fat fryer in the
kitchen," a fire spokesman told Burnham-On-Sea.com.
"The fire had already been extinguished by the occupiers
using a fire blanket, but the crews also used two CO2 extinguishers
and two breathing apparatus."
Fire crews said that alarms at the centre were fitted and did
operate correctly.
A spokeswoman for the centre told Burnham-On-Sea.com: "We
are unable to comment about the fire until after our investigation."
