-

Burnham-On-Sea’s annual shop window competition is underway, with shoppers being challenged to find ‘odd items’ hidden in displays.

The annual ‘Spot the Odd Item in the Shop Window Competition’, run by Burnham’s Chamber of Trade, runs until Sunday April 15th.

26 shops and businesses are taking part this year, with shoppers who find all the items being in with a chance of winning the £100 top prize or one of several runners-up prizes.

Burnham Chamber of Trade Chairman Rhonda Mills told Burnham-On-Sea.com: “The competition aims to raise awareness of the wide range of shops we have on offer in Burnham Town Centre, as well as giving families and shoppers some free entertainment over the holiday period.”

The ‘odd items’ are items that are not normally be sold or displayed by the shop.

One of the 26 items will also be hidden somewhere on the front page of Burnham-On-Sea.com!

Free entry forms are available from Burnham’s seafront Information Centre and can be handed in at the same location, or GW Hurley Toy Store, Home Hardware or Sea Breeze by close of business on Sunday April 15th. The names of the winners will be announced on Burnham-On-Sea.com on April 18th.
