Man
arrested after overnight raid at Superdrug in Burnham-On-Sea

A
man has been arrested following a break-in at Burnham-On-Sea's
Superdrug store early on Monday morning (April 23rd).
Police
were called to the High Street after a front window was smashed
by a man gaining entry to the shop.
Inspector Roger Tolley told Burnham-On-Sea.com:
"Police were called to reports of a burglary in the High
Street at 1.50am."
"Entry
had been forced through a window. Police
recovered a quantity of stolen goods and a local man in his 20s
was arrested and is in custody."
The
shop's front window has been boarded up and staff at the shop
were undertaking a clean-up after stock was pushed off shelves
inside.
