Young Burnham-On-Sea swimmers make a splash at top competition

A group of members of Burnham-On-Sea Swimming Club is celebrating after winning a number of awards at a competition.

The youngsters competed against swimmers from across the area at the Bristol North Open Meet in Hutton Moor.

Megan Richards, Holly Richards, Ella Dollery and Ellen Lupton beat 11 other teams in both the medley and freestyle relays.

The other members of the team - Tom Dollery, Thomas Smithers and Liam Reddish - also did well.

Club records were broken by Tom Dollery in the 50m under 10 age group butterfly, Holly Richards in the 100m under 13 Freestyle, and Ella Dollery in the 100m under 11 Freestyle.
