Gracie
wins Burnham-On-Sea and Highbridge talent show

Budding
musicians and entertainers took part in Burnham-On-Sea's very
own version of the hit TV show Britain's Got Talent on
Saturday night (December 8th).
The
Princess Theatre hosted the inaugural talent show, called 'Highbridge
and Burnham's Got Talent'.
Eight-year-old
singer Gracie Wickens-Sweet was declared the winner after impressing
the audience and judges, who included Burnham and Highbridge Mayor
Ken Smout and Sam Nicol from Burnham and Highbridge Youth Theatre.
The
runners-up were Peter Langley and Melissa Fear.
Jonathan Smith, the event co-ordinator, told Burnham-On-Sea.com:
"It was a great night full of local talent and the quality
was very high. A big well done goes to everyone who entered, supported
us and and came along to watch."
