Burnham-On-Sea MP Tessa Munt got on her bike to pedal several miles across Somerset to raise funds for a church at the weekend.

She joined a large group of cyclists in pedaling between Blackford’s Trinity Church and Wedmore’s St Marys for the ‘Ride and Stride’ fundraiser.

Tessa told Burnham-On-Sea.com: “It has been too long since I had a chance to enjoy a good cycle so I was keen to join the gang and support this excellent local charity at the same time.”

The event was the first leg of a round Somerset trip in aid of the Friends of Somerset Churches and Chapels, a local charity raising money to help keep Somerset churches alive for worship, pilgrimage, visitors and the community.
