Burnham and Highbridge Twinning Society open evening tonight

Burnham-On-Sea and Highbridge's Fritzlar Twinning Society is holding an open evening tonight (Wednesday, February 15th) when potential new members are being encouraged to call in and find out more about the organisation.

The open evening will be held at 7.30pm in St John's Church Hall, Highbridge and will be open to all residents from the area.

The Fritzlar Twinning Society has been in existence for over 20 years and aims to maintain and develop Burnham and Highbridge's relationship with Fritzlar, a historic town in the German region of Hessen.

"We are interested to hear from new members - a knowledge of German is not necessary. The group meets every third Wednesday of each month and is a fun group to be a part of," a spokeswoman told Burnham-On-Sea.com.
