Fresh weather warnings issued for Burnham-On-Sea this week
Residents
across the south west - including Burnham-On-Sea - have been warned
to expect more heavy rainfall this week.
The
Met Office has issued a 'yellow warning' and predicted heavy,
persistent rain will sweep across the area on Wednesday - with
further warnings in place for Thursday and Friday.
It
says: "Further heavy showers are likely on Tuesday night
and through Wednesday across much of Wales and the southern half
of England."
"The
public should be aware that large amounts of rainfall may bring
a risk of surface water flooding, as well as general difficult
driving conditions. Impacts are expected to be greater in the
amber area where some river flooding is also possible."
There
are further yellow warnings in place for heavy rain on Thursday
and Friday.
