West End theatre star brings magic of the musicals to Burnham-On-Sea

-

A West End theatre performer who used to live in Burnham-On-Sea will be returning to the town this Sunday (September 9th) to star in a one-off concert.

Currently performing in Les Miserables, Chris Holland will bring the magic of the musicals to Burnham’s Princess Theatre and Arts Centre on Sunday at 7pm.

“With over 18 years of experience in musical theatre, Chris has starred in Phantom of the Opera, Dirty Dancing, We Will Rock You as well as performing with David Essex in All the Fun of the Fair and singing at the Royal Albert Hall in the Phantom of the Opera 25th Anniversary Concert,” Princess Manager Andy Pulleyn told Burnham-On-Sea.com.

“Not only will The Princess play host to this seasoned West End performer but Chris will also be accompanied by an excellent 4-piece band that have played with artists such as Vanessa Mae, Susan Boyle and sell out touring shows including the Jesus Christ Superstar arena tour and the John Barrowman tour. A fantastic female singer who is currently performing in Blood Brothers will complete the scintillating line up.”

The organiser of the event, Graham Cook, has kindly decided to donate any profits from the event to The Princess Lighting Fund which is raising money to help improve lighting facilities at the venue.

Tickets are available from the Princess Box Office, which is open Tuesday to Friday, from 10am to 3pm. The box office number is 01278 784464.
