Office issues snow warning for Burnham-On-Sea area
Met Office has issued a severe weather alert for the south west,
including Burnham-On-Sea, warning of potential snowfall today
(Sunday) and Monday.
'yellow alert' states: "Rain
pushing in from the west is expected to turn to snow on the leading
edge, with the potential for accumulations of several centimetres,
especially on hills. For Wales and South West England the snow
is expected to begin on Sunday."
Burnham-On-Sea area is on the edge of the area at risk, as shown
on the Met Office's map.
