TV comedian brings comedy show to Burnham-On-Sea theatre in May

-

TV comedian Arthur Smith will be performing at Burnham-On-Sea’s Princess Theatre tonight (Friday).

The comedian – known for his appearances on Grumpy Old Men, QI, Room 101 and Have I Got News for You – was booked to appear at the Brewhouse Theatre in Taunton but when that venue closed earlier this year, he switched his show to Burnham instead.

He will be bringing his comedy show, called Exposed!, to The Princess at 8pm.

His new show, Arthur Smith Exposed, is crammed with jokes, anecdotes, short stories, poems and songs and uses material from his recently published and critically praised memoir, ‘My Name Is Daphne Fairfax’.

The theatre’s manager Andy Pulleyn told Burnham-On-Sea.com: “We are beyond excited to welcome comedy legend Arthur Smith. With his own brand of dry and witty humour it will be a night packed with jokes, anecdotes, short stories, poems, songs and readings from his memoirs. If you enjoyed our previous comedy night, this is simply unmissable.”

Tickets, costing £15 or £13 for concessions, can be booked from the Princess Box Office on 01278 784464.
