Burnham-On-Sea police sergeant provides Internet safety tips

A Burnham-On-Sea police sergeant has given Internet safety advice to members of a computing club in the town.

Sergeant Ash Jones, who has recently joined Burnham police station, gave a talk to members of the UK Online Centre at the BAY Centre in Cassis Close.

"Members were treated to a safety talk by newly-transferred Sergeant Ash Jones in his Senior Citizen Laison Team role. The talk focussed on doorstep security and how to stay safe on the internet," said a spokesman.

The event included an interactive question-and-answer session, when various strategies and hypothetical situations were discussed.
