Burnham-On-Sea charity is appealing to local people to vote for
it and help it secure £3,000 of community funding.
the long-running charity that runs Burnham's rescue hovercrafts,
has been nominated by Lloyds Bank's staff in the town to receive
a Lloyds Bank Community Fund Award.
The charity is appealing to local people to give their support
for it online here or calling in at the branch in the High
Street and placing a token in the slot for the organisation.
Voting closes across England and Wales ends on 1st November and
LLoyds will then award grants to over 1,300 community groups across
Two local good causes in each area with the most votes will receive
an award of £3,000. The other two will be awarded £300
each. BARB is seeking the funding for new rescue equipment at
its seafront hovercraft station.
