bike nights set to return as supporters are thanked
Awards have been presented to the bikers who have been supporting
a summer-long series of charity bike nights in Burnham-On-Sea,
which came to an end on Tuesday evening (September 24th).
bikers have been gathering in Burnham's Morrisons car park every
Tuesday during the summer months to raise funds for local charities,
including the Dylan Cecil Memorial Fund in memory of the boy who
died last year after drowning.
Tuesday's final bike night of the summer, the organisers said
the events would return next year.
also handed out awards to the owners of some of the best bikes
to thank all those who have taken part. Winners
were Viv and Richard Garkut from Brean (pictured above), Alfie
Baker from Weston, and Wally Jewitt of Burnham, pictured below.
Phil Hayward told Burnham-On-Sea.com: "We're really pleased
with how the event has gone over the summer and thank all those
who came along to give us their support."
