Motorcyclist hurt in collision with car in Brean this morning

A motorcyclist was taken to hospital with leg injuries following a collision with a car in Brean this morning (Tuesday).

Police and ambulance crews were called to South Road outside Pontins holiday centre at 7.55am.

“The motorcyclist suffered leg injuries and was taken to Weston General hospital as a precaution,” police spokesman Wayne Baker told Burnham-On-Sea.com.

Meanwhile, the A38 at Tarnock just outside Rooksbridge was also closed in both directions on Monday afternoon following an collision at 1.30pm involving a Toyota and a Ford Focus. A female motorist was taken to Weston General Hospital but police said her injuries were not thought to be serious.
