Popular songs and Christmas classics will be performed when Burnham and Highbridge Brass Band holds its festive concert this evening (Sunday, December 22nd).

Members of the band will be presenting their rousing rendition of carols and festive music.

Led by musical director David Fisher, the show will include principal cornet Graham Davies performing the Candlelight Carol by John Rutter, Jane Greg playing Silver Threads Among the Gold on silver horn, and principal tuber Ken Henton performing The Blaydon Races.

The group’s concert at Burnham’s Princess, which starts at 7.45pm, will also include the presentation of The Bandsman of the Year Award.

Tickets cost £6 and £5 for concessions from Burnham’s Princess Theatre and Arts Centre.
