A Burnham-On-Sea artist has this week launched a new book featuring illustrations of Brent Knoll.
Judith Champion’s A Sketchbook of Brent Knoll contains 32 pages of scenes featuring events, groups and buildings in the village.
“The book is focused on life in the village and shows some of the colourful buildings and social activities that take place such as the annual village fete, the post office and pub,” Judith, pictured, told Burnham-On-Sea.com.
“It’s been commisisoned by the Parish Council Chairman Colin Townsend after he saw my previous sketchbooks on Burnham and Brean and recognised that the format would work really well in Brent Knoll too.”
The new book will be on sale at £6 per copy in the village’s post office from this Wednesday.
Some of the proceeds of the publication will be benefiting local community groups in Brent Knoll.
