Over £200 was raised for the Royal Air Forces Association when a Burnham-On-Sea pub hosted a special coffee morning on Saturday (June 29th).
The Burnham branch of the RAFA organised the ‘Brew For The Few’ event on Armed Forces Day at The Railway Pub in Burnham High Street, which was attended by a steady flow of supporters throughout the morning.
Organiser Brian Mudge told Burnham-On-Sea.com: “We raised approximately £200, which was an excellent amount for the couple of hours.”
“The weather was extremely kind to us and I would also like to thank the public for their generosity.”
“I would also like to thank the manager of The Railway Inn for allowing Burnham’s RAFA branch to hold the event.”
