Burnham-On-Sea Camera Club's annual exhibition hailed a success

The work of more than 20 Burnham-On-Sea photographers went on show at an exhibition in the town on Sunday (April 21st).

Burnham-On-Sea Camera Club held its fifth annual exhibition, where visitors were able to browse over dozens of eye-catching shots.

The free exhibition was held at the Burnham Area Youth Centre in Cassis Close and attracted dozens of visitors, including Burnham and Highbridge's Mayor Ken Smout.

Burnham Camera Club Chairperson Sharon Stevens told "We had a good turnout of visitors throughout the day to see the work of 22 of our members. There were lots of positive comments about the high quality of photos."

The exhibition was opened by junior photographer Peter Vincent of St Joseph's School, whose recent school photography club prize included a chance to open the exhibition.

The club welcomes new members of all skill levels, ranging from absolute beginners to experts specialising in their respective fields. It meets on Tuesday nights from 7pm until 9pm at the BAY Centre. Visitors are welcome.
