Police appeal for witnesses after car is torched in Highbridge

Police are investigating a deliberate car fire which took place in the early hours of today (Tuesday, May 21st).

Fire crews from Burnham-On-Sea were called to a lane just off Tyler Way and Newtown Road at 1am.

"Crews confirmed that one vehicle was well alight and got to work using one compressed air foam to extinguish the fire," said a spokesman. "Police were requested to attend this incident as the cause of the fire is believed to be deliberate."
