New era for Burnham-On-Sea and Highbridge Choral Society

-

Burnham and Highbridge Choral Society says the appointment of a new Musical Director signals the start of a new and exciting era for the group.

The long-running group has appointed Nicholas Bromilow into the top role.

“Although Nick is new to the Society, he has had experience conducting various orchestras and groups,” the group’s Julie Skinner told Burnham-On-Sea.com.

“Nick also received a choral scholarship from Sherborne Abbey and has a B.A. degree in music.”

“The Society is looking forward to the challenge and new opportunities that he will bring and feel sure that together.”

“Both Nick and the choir will continue to develop and grow, whilst continuing to perform quality concerts.”

“This would be an ideal time to join this friendly, relaxed Choral Society. Why not come on this adventure with us – we will be starting back on Thursday 5th September at 7.30pm in the Methodist Church Hall, College Street, Burnham. There are no auditions.”

Although reading music is an advantage, it’s not necessary. The first three weeks will be free. For more information, contact Bev Hearn on 01934 732041 or email the group’s secretary at jane.lee36@btinternet.com
