Hundreds of people gathered in East Huntspill on Saturday (September 7th) for the village’s long-running harvest home.

The annual event was held in a huge marquee set up in a field next to Withy Road in the village.

After the traditional harvest lunch, there were competitions for best decorated baskets, hoops and scarecrows, plus live music and entertainment.

“We had a great turnout again this year – a total of 480 people enjoyed the meal and we had 100 helpers keeping it all running smoothly,” said chairman Noel Lukins.
