Chamber of Trade launches Burnham Easter shop window competition

-

Eagle-eyed Burnham-On-Sea shoppers will be able to win £100 by taking part in a competition to find unusual items hidden in 20 shop windows across the town this Easter.

Organised by Burnham’s Chamber Of Trade, the competition to ‘spot the odd item in the shop window’ begins this Saturday (March 30th) until Sunday 14th April.

Dozens of town centre businesses are putting items that they don’t usually sell in their windows and the public is being invited to find as many of them as possible.

Entry is free and the first prize is £100 cash with other gift voucher prizes for the runners-up.

Entry forms are available from Burnham’s Tourist Information Centre in addition to participating shops.

A Chamber spokesman told Burnham-On-Sea.com: “We hope this free, fun activity will attract more people into our town centre over the Easter school holidays.”

“The Chamber believes Burnham has a great range of independent shops and with generous prizes on offer, we hope as many people will enter as possible and visit our businesses.”

Among the town businesses taking part is Burnham-On-Sea.com, which will have an item hidden on its front page!

Burnham Town Team is also promoting shops in the town this Easter by distributing posters backing independent shopping.
