Young entrepreneurs from Highbridge unveil new fashion brand

-

A group of young entrepreneurs from a Highbridge school have unveiled their new fashion brand during a regional trade fair.

The sixth formers from King Alfred School attended the West of England Trade Fair at the weekend as part of the Young Enterprise Competition.

The students have developed a new fashion label to rival Abercrombie and Fitch called Hester and Gray.

On a busy day at Cribbs Causeway in Bristol the students sold most of their stock to shoppers who were eagerly searching for Christmas presents.

Jonathan Gaskell, Head of Sixth Form, told Burnham-On-Sea.com: “The young enterprise competition is one of many enrichment opportunities that sixth formers experience at King Alfred School.”

“Students gain vital transferable skills that are sure to impress employers and universities.”
