A fire in an outbuilding at Brean Golf Club was tackled by Burnham-On-Sea fire crews last night (Saturday).

Two fire appliances from Burnham, two from Weston and a water bowser from Bridgwater were called to the incident on the site of Brean Leisure Park just before 10pm.

“Crews found a small fire involving the timber cladding of an office outbuilding measuring twenty metres by four metres,” a spokesman told Burnham-On-Sea.com.

“Some of the cladding was damaged by the fire, which was extinguished by fire crews using one hose reel jet.”

The cause of the fire is believed to be accidental.
