A Burnham-On-Sea photography enthusiast has been crowned ‘2013 Photographer of the Year’ by a national magazine.
Delighted Kathy Norris, from Kingsway Road, received the news this week after entering a competition run by Practical Photography magazine.
Her still-life photo, pictured below, caught the eye of the judges and took first place and the full title of ‘Round Six Still Life Practical Photography Magazine Photographer of the Year’.
Twelve months ago, Kathy was the runner-up in the nature section of the same competition. There were 600 entrants in total. Kathy is a familiar face in Burnham and works at GW Hurleys newsagents in the High Street.
