Fire crews rescued a pensioner from a lift at a Burnham-On-Sea block of flats on Friday (December 13th) – the third incident there in recent months.
Two fire engines from Burnham were called to Allandale Court in Rectory Road at 9.40am.
“Fire crews released an elderly female from the lift unharmed. They used small tools to isolate the lift motor and lower the lift to the ground floor,” said a spokesman.
Similar rescues have occurred there in November and June this year.
