£470 of shopping vouchers can be won by taking part in a competition in Burnham-On-Sea this month to mark National Independent Retailers Month.
Burnham’s Chamber of Trade and Town Team have linked up to organise the contest, which runs throughout July, to highlight the large number of independent shops in the town.
Shoppers are being invited to enter the free competition and identify the logos of well-known independent shops in the town.
Participating traders have pledged shopping vouchers worth £470, which will be given to the overall winner of the competition.
Entry forms are available to download here from Burnham-On-Sea.com, which is one of the contest’s sponsors.
“The competition encourages shoppers to visit Burnham’s independent retailers and have a bit of fun too identifying the logos,” co-organiser Linda Bullimore of Burnham Town Team told Burnham-On-Sea.com.
Paper versions are also available from the BIARS tourist information centre on the seafront. All completed entry forms can be left at G.W Hurley News Agents in Burnham High Street by July 31st and a winner will be drawn shortly afterwards.
