£1,900 was raised for charity when popular Burnham-based band The Lone Sharkz reunited after ten years apart on Saturday night (November 23rd).
A sell-out concert was held at The Oaktree where the crowd were also entertained by Snappa, right, and The Talk Show Hosts.
Joy Russell, vocalist of Loan Sharkz, said: “On behalf of the Lone Sharkz I would like to say a huge thank you to everyone who came along and joined in the fun – and oh what fun we all had!”
“My cheeks hurt from way too much smiling! So lovely to see all the old faces out partying in style – your beaming energy filled the room.”
She also thanked organiser Diane Wilkins and those who helped to raise £1,900 for the Somerset based charity ‘Help the Child’.
