Two-vehicle collision causes delays on the M5 near Burnham-On-Sea

-

A two-vehicle crash caused delays for motorists travelling on the M5 through the Burnham-On-Sea area on Saturday evening (September 14th).

Fire and police crews were called to the northbound carriageway between junction 23 at Dunball and junction 22 at Burnham just before 7pm.

“Fire crews confirmed a two vehicle road traffic collision. Police created a rolling road block on the M5 northbound carriageway whilst fire crews were dealing with this incident,” said a spokesman.

All persons were free and clear of the vehicles. Fire crews stemmed a petrol leak from one vehicle using small tools and an Environment Agency pack.
