Burnham-On-Sea youngster to appear on one million milk cartons!

-

A Burnham-On-Sea girl is set to appear on one million milk cartons across the UK.

The face of five-year-old Iona Patrick has been chosen to appear on the side of goats milk cartons from Yorkshire-based St Helen’s Farm.

It comes after the youngster caught the attenton of the firm when she wrote a letter telling them how much she loves drinking their milk.

Iona’s mother, Lorraine Davies, told Burnham-On-Sea.com: “Iona did a project at school about which animals produce milk that people can drink. She was amazed that we could drink goats’ milk and so we went on a little ‘taste adventure’ and bought some fresh St Helen’s Farm goats milk.”

“Now we drink it all the time and, as a family, we have never looked back. We have it on our cereal and it’s much tastier than cows’ milk. We all feel healthier and Iona really enjoys drinking it – she can’t wait to see her picture on the cartons!”

St Helen’s Farm’s Mike Hind said: “We wanted to thank Iona for spreading the word about our products and it was a pleasure to be able to unveil her as the latest milk carton star.

We receive many stories from people that have switched to goats’ milk and have benefited from the change, so it’s wonderful to hear that the whole Davies family are enjoying our milk!”
