Crowds of model train enthusiasts from across the UK will be flocking to a two-day show this weekend.

The annual Sedgemoor Rail Show, overseen by Burnham and District Model Railway Club, will be held on Saturday August 24th from 10.30am to 4.30pm and Sunday 25th August from 10am to 4pm in the new hall at Highbridge’s King Alfred School.

“We will have many layouts in various gauges, trade stands, displays and demonstrations over the two days,” the club’s Exhibition Manager Chris Vickery told Burnham-On-Sea.com.

Entry will cost £3.50 for adults, £3 for OAPs, £3 for children, accompanied children £1 and £8 for families of two adults and two children. There will also be free parking, disabled access and light refreshments.
