Burnham dental practice’s staff bid farewell to Monica after 35 years

-

The team at a Burnham-On-Sea dental practice have bid farewell to a member of staff who has retired.

Monica Hart, right, has left Burnham’s College Street Dental Practice after 35 years in the role.

“Monica qualified in November 1987 and started at College Street in 1978. She first worked with Dennis Sara for five years, then Ralph Day for five and finally with George Slabbert for 25 years,” said Practice Manager Karen Jury-Dando.

“She has been a valuable member of staff and we know staff and patients will miss her enormously.”

“We hope she has a good rest and a long and happy retirement which she so deserves, and hope she remembers to still bring us in her lovely chocolate sponges that she makes for us occasionally!”

Staff held a barbecue for Monica and also invited along some of the former staff whom she had worked with over the years as a surprise.
