Burnham-On-Sea’s Moose International Lodge stepped back in time for their annual Governor’s New Year Party on Saturday evening (January 12th).

Over 80 members and guests gathered together for an Old Time Music Hall themed night at Berrow Village Hall.

Guests were entertained by a group of lodge members and friends, with a collection of old time music hall sketches. The audience also joined in with a singing of old time songs.

Refreshments of pie and sausage with mashed potato were served by the Moose Ladies Circle members, who also oversaw several raffles and a fancy dress competition.

The best-dressed gentleman was deemed to be Bro Reg Molesdale, whilst the best-dressed lady was Carol Livingstone.

Moose Governor Brian Mudge told Burnham-On-Sea.com: “It was a most successful evening and I believe we have raised over £400 towards my nominated charities. Thank you to all who made the evening a success.”

Ladies Circle president Rita Harris added: “Everybody worked extremely hard, and the fancy dress enhanced the usual party atmosphere.”
