Scorching sunshine and a great line-up of live music attracted large crowds to Burnham-On-Sea’s Picnic in the Park on Sunday afternoon (July 7th).

The Fallen Apples led the free event in the town’s Manor Gardens which also included performances by Combyne Arvester and The Cherries. Children were also kept entertained with hair-braiding, face-painting and a kidzone.

Organiser Mike Murphy from CADS, the Burnham and Highbridge Cultural Arts and Development Society, said: “The turnout and the weather were superb and it was great to see visitors from as far afield as Weston and Bristol.”
