New landlords for Burnham-On-Sea pub plan £50k of improvements

-

A town centre pub in Burnham-On-Sea has new landlords this week who have unveiled plans for a £50,000 revamp.

Ben Solomon and Dave Yates have taken over management of the Somerset and Dorset pub in the High Street.

They have already introduced a brand new menu and are re-opening the pub’s upstairs restaurant this weekend.

“We are planning at least £50,000 of improvements and renovations over the coming year to bring the pub fully up-to-date,” Ben told Burnham-On-Sea.com.

“We have immediately changed and updated our menu with a new railway theme and have also introduced a healthy children’s menu with specials for senior citizens.”

“This coming weekend we will be re-opening the pub’s main restaurant which will be open to families and anyone who wants a good meal made with local ingredients.”

The pub is also introducing a new line-up of real ales, a new entertainment schedule and is planning charity events for local good causes.

Ben added: “Since taking over as landlords, we have had lots of positive feedback. Some customers have come back in after many years away.”
