A Burnham-On-Sea band is to celebrate a decade of performances with a special gig in the town this Friday (May 31st).

The Riverbrew will be holding the event at The Dunstan House in Love Lane, ten years to the day that they first picked up their instruments.

Rob Jones put the band together because his girlfriend at the time wanted to be a singer in a band and since then the group has become a highly sought-after wedding and party band.

“It is a massive achievement that The Riverbrew has kept going for this long and I’m proud to be part of it,” he told Burnham-On-Sea.com.

“We will be performing three sets from 8pm on Friday with the middle set being all old Riverbrew songs from the last ten years and there will be old members of the band getting up to play as well.”

Friday’s concert will also be raising money for the Dorset and Somerset Air Ambulance.
