Motorists in Burnham-On-Sea warned of delays as roadworks begin

Motorists in Burnham-On-Sea have been warned to expect delays as roadworks along several major routes in the town get underway.

Six weeks of bridge maintenance work is to begin in Queen's Drive from February 18th and the County Council has advised motorists to expect delays.

Resurfacing work in Love Lane, Manor Road, Oxford Street, St Andrew's Road and Rosewood Avenue - which was postponed in mid-January due to snow - has been rescheduled for 25th-28th February.

Traffic lights will be in operation at the locations and the county council says every effort will be made to reduce congestion at busy times of the day.
