Hundreds of people attended a fun day at Brent Knoll’s RSPCA animal centre on Sunday (September 22nd).

The event in Brent Road attracted a steady flow of visitors throughout the day.

Bryan Moyse, Chairman of the RSPCA’s North Somerset branch, said: “We were very pleased with how it went – we had over 500 visitors throughout the day. This was the first time we have run a fun day and I’m sure it will return again next year.”

Along with obedience and agility displays, there were many attractions including refreshments, stalls and games plus face-painting and an ‘animal encounters’ area where visitors could learn about a range of rescue animals and meet guests from Avon Owls and Prickles Hedgehog Rescue.
