Burnham-On-Sea group Rustique named bar’s new house band

Burnham-based band Rustique has become the new ‘house band’ at the Waterfront Bar on the town’s seafront.

Lead singer Pete Beach says there has always been a close working relationship between the band and the pub, with the band performing there during the last three Folkfests.

Rustique are a five-piece acoustic band comprising of Guitar, Upright Bass, Accordion, Mandolin, Concertina and tin Whistle.

Vocals are supplied by Pete beach. Fiddle player Colin Rendall has played with the band recently.

Rustique have played a key role in the music sessions organised by the Waterfront Bar each Tuesday evening where musicians are welcomed to attend jamming sessions to improve their skills. Information about Rustique can be found here.
