Burnham-On-Sea Scouts issue appeal for new leaders

Burnham-On-Sea Scout Group has this week appealed for new leaders to come forward and get involved with a variety of fun activities.

The long-running scout group, which provides activities for children aged 6-14, is seeking more parent helpers, leaders and general helpers.

Training will be provided by the Scout Association for potential leaders, who need to be aged 18 or over and enjoy working with children. Applicants will be given a full CRB check.

"We need enthusiastic people to help us and in return we can promise a lot of fun," said the group's Sarah Rendell. "It's a great, friendly group to be a part of."
